Retention Period: Typically 7-30 days or until you log out

Can You Opt Out? No - these cookies are required for the Service to function. Disabling them will prevent you from using PropFlow.

4.2 Analytics Cookies (Default: ON, Opt-Out Available)

These cookies help us understand how users interact with PropFlow so we can improve the product and user experience.

What They Do:

  • Track page views and feature usage

  • Record user flows through the application
  • Identify which features are most valuable

  • PostHog: Product analytics platform that tracks user behavior, feature adoption, and Service performance
    • Tracks: Page views, clicks, form submissions, feature usage
    • May include: Session recordings (if enabled in your Privacy Settings)
    • Privacy: PostHog is GDPR-compliant and does not sell user data

What Data Is Collected:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Buttons clicked and features used
  • Forms submitted (but not form contents like passwords)
  • Error messages encountered
  • Device type, browser type, operating system
  • Referral source (how you arrived at PropFlow)
  • General geographic location (city/state level, not precise location)

Retention Period: Typically 1-2 years to enable long-term usage analysis

Can You Opt Out? Yes - you can disable Analytics cookies anytime:

  • In PropFlow: Go to Settings → Privacy Choices and toggle Analytics to OFF
  • In Your Browser: Most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies
  • Changes take effect immediately

Default State: ON when you create a PropFlow account (you consent via Terms of Service at signup)

4.3 Marketing Cookies (Default: ON, Opt-Out Available)

These cookies may be used in the future to measure marketing effectiveness and deliver relevant advertising. We do not currently use marketing cookies, but we include this section for future implementation.

What They May Do (If Implemented):

  • Track conversions from advertising campaigns
  • Measure which marketing channels are most effective
  • Deliver personalized ads on other websites (retargeting)

  • Optimize marketing spend and campaign performance

Retention Period: Typically 30-90 days for campaign tracking

Can You Opt Out? Yes - you can disable Marketing cookies anytime:

  • In PropFlow: Go to Settings → Privacy Choices and toggle Marketing to OFF
  • In Your Browser: Enable "Do Not Track" or block third-party cookies
  • Industry Opt-Outs: Visit optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org

Default State: ON when you create a PropFlow account, but can be changed immediately

Current Status: We do not currently use marketing cookies. If we implement them in the future, we will:

  • Update this Cookie Policy with specific details
  • Email all active users with advance notice
  • Provide easy opt-out mechanisms
  • Respect your existing privacy preferences

5. Your Consent and Choices

5.1 How You Provide Consent

When you create a PropFlow account, you agree to our use of cookies as described in this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy. By clicking "Create Account" or "Sign in with Google," you consent to our use of Necessary, Analytics, and Marketing cookies with the default settings described above.

What You're Agreeing To:

  • Log in to your PropFlow account
  • Go to Settings → Privacy Choices
  • Toggle cookie categories ON or OFF:
    • Necessary: Always ON (cannot be disabled)
    • Analytics: Toggle ON/OFF
    • Marketing: Toggle ON/OFF
  • Click "Save Preferences"
  • Changes take effect immediately

Browser Controls:

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy, Search, and Services → Cookies

What Happens If You Block Cookies:

  • Blocking Necessary cookies will prevent you from using PropFlow
  • Blocking Analytics cookies will opt you out of product analytics
  • Blocking Marketing cookies will opt you out of advertising tracking
  • You may need to adjust settings after clearing your browser cache

Do Not Track (DNT):

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. However, there is no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals. Please use our in-app Privacy Choices to control your cookie preferences.

5.3 Mobile Device Settings

If you're using PropFlow on a mobile device, you can control tracking through your device settings:

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking
  • Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads

Note that these settings control device-level tracking and may not affect all cookies used by web-based applications.
